This is a hypothetical situation that somebody once said to me about Alicia. I was having a conversation with one of our mutual friends (possibly Russell?), and somehow this sentence was uttered: "Alicia could just pick up and run a marathon tomorrow if she wanted." At the time, I didn't know that Alicia was a runner at all, and I was skeptical. I thought to myself, "yeah right, nobody just does that." Not long after, boy was I proven wrong! I had no idea what a talented and capable athlete Alicia is. (I mean, seriously. Who gets gifted in SO many ways in life?! Smart, creative, beautiful, cool, *and* athletic?! Sheesh!) So nowadays, if somebody tells me something seemingly unbelievable that Alicia has done, I don't doubt it for a second. The girl's a wonder.

"Classic Alicia" would be something along the lines of Alicia eating delicious tacos somewhere awesome in Oakland and meeting some delicious man while eating the tacos, and then traveling somewhere exotic and completely randomly bumping into that same delicious man, and then going somewhere else totally random and bumping into that same delicious man AGAIN (this is all hypothetical as far as I know but I feel like that kind of thing totally happens to her).

The first thing that popped into my head was when we were at "Space Prom" which was thrown at the Chabot Space and Science Center. People dressed up in prom apparel, made corsages, drank beer and danced, while exploring the exhibits. A Backstreet Boys song started playing, and Alicia started dancing in the middle of a circle of non-dancing people. She pointed at a young man in a suit two sizes to big for him. He seemed surprised and delighted, and started dancing with her, in an almost choreographed fashion. Everyone watched while just the two of them danced to the entire song. Classic Alicia.
